Fashion Sasquatch (Post Apocalypse)

She needs sunglasses. Can someone get her some P-R-O-N-T-O, PRONTO? She's a diva, believe me (I'm her), but hey, she survived the apocalypse. She now storms through the forest, taking in the aftermath the Mayans predicted. What aftermath? Let's be realistic; if everyone thinks something is going to happen, it won't... and it didn't. So she survives another day, ready to take on the world that is still living.

ABOUT THE LOOK: A little sheer here and a few hundred studs there... yes please. It's the holiday season and what doesn't say holiday more that a mint shirt with muted gold studs strung across the collar and cuffs? Well, besides a faux crocodile clutch. I guess what I'm trying to say here is that this is an outfit that I'd most definitely wear to a Christmas Party... If only I had one to go to...

Giddy Gal

Little Blue Riding Hood. Alive is Alice in her Wonderland. Eyes wide, they're gawking. The wonders in this fairy tale-like world. Look into a mirror and wave, she doesn't wait for the reflection to wave back. She doesn't let herself hold her back anymore. Look at her... She's free. She was stuck in a metal box, her tears were filling it, but she found the plug and pulled it straight out. Now its drained and she's broken one of the sides of that box down and she has released herself into this marvelous... this mysterious world.

ABOUT THE LOOK: In the last post, I showed you all how you can look sexy in this coat, but looky here! In the same day, same outfit, I was able to release my inner child and have such a jolly good time and manage to look fabulous while doing it! I'm not bragging... well... maybe a little:)

This is my friends coat. I am IN LOVE with it. The color. The style. THE BUTTONS. This coat is what I now envision when I think of fall.

My Own Dark Fairytale

 

It's only her and the eyes looking at her in the dark woods. Night is coming, but they don't turn back; they continue on their journey. The leaves crunch beneath her feet and the bark pries at her skin as she lays on the damp log. None of this is actually real because it's all a fantasy she's concocted in her over-imaginative mind. The creatures sulking behind the bushes are figments of her imagination. As are the amazing critters that have become her friends throughout the years.

Why hello there. I see you are looking at pictures of me over the world wide web. Don't worry, I don't find it creepy. I did put them there for a reason. I put them there so people like you can see me.... Okay, I'm starting to creep myself out. I'm stopping that. Hi! I hope your day is going good. Mine didn't. I shut my hand in a golf cart door and made it bleed, I busted out a crappy 4 page paper, I'm sleep deprieved BUT I am able to write this oh-so marvelous post (Super Sarcasm!). There's a reason that I called this Vampirish Part I. It's because I took sooooo many pictures that they can't all fit into one post! Plus, this post isn't just about my style today, it's about my BACK TO SCHOOL GIVEAWAY winner! ABOUT THE LOOK: All of a sudden, fall is here... with fall weather. No more mini skirts and tanks for mwa. I am in college after all and forced to walk everywhere and I hate being cold. Exactly whey I wore this, oh-so-very mysterious skirt/jacket combo. The crimson color combined with the sheer overlaying the skirt from Forever 21 made it perfect from the transition from summer to fall. Plus, the leather jacket  from Plato's Closet provided shelter from the cool wind blowing that day. I have on some pretty cute necklaces too. One that has crosses and another that's full of false pearls and is a peter pan collar. I love it!

BEHIND THE SCENES: What can I say. I never stay serious for too long. At all. Ever. Andrea (Photographer and bestie) has to get frustrated, I mess around so much. I laugh, make her laugh, dance around, dance on a tree! Plus, she always manages to capture me hiking up my skirt and trampling around; have you ever tried to walk in heels in the forest while the ground is squishy? It's hard.



 

 

Forgotten Photos

By the time your reading this, I'll be in Florida on my mission trip. I'm going down there for Give Kids The World, which is a part of Disney World (Or Land, whichever is in Florida) where we help the terminally ill have an amazing time at Disney World because it's there wish for the Make A Wish Foundation. We're also going to the beach for a day. I really hope I get to swim with some tropical fish or see a coral reef or be able to surf or something! I've never been to the beach so I'm hoping for a good experience. It's on my bucket list to go to Florida and visit a beach so... I hope it's worth being on my bucket list.

Anyway, I was going through some of my pictures the other day and I stumbled across these from an old shoot with Andrea. You can tell these pictures were from a while ago, my hair is still long and brown!

ABOUT THE LOOK:
What is there to say? One of the biggest trends of the moment is floral print so, even though I like to find pieces that are unique and not so trendy, I saw this dress and finally understood why the floral print fad blew up so quickly. What I like about this outfit is how it also combines the sheer part on top. Two trends in one, beautiful when separate, spectacular when together. The sheer adds a sexiness to the romantic side of the dress that the flowers bring out.

Add Wings, I'm a Fairy

What a cold day it was  when I took these pictures with my lovely friend, Andrea! It was a hardy 35-40 degrees out and the water in this creek... very cold. It was worth it though. Andrea and I went out to a local park to take these pictures. The headband was a DIY. We bought a bunch of fake flowers and then twisted the fake stems together. I was estatic on how it turned out! And I'm so sorry about the picture overload, I couldn't chose only a few! Tell me what you think about the pictures and Please hype it on Chictopia!
