Add Wings, I'm a Fairy

What a cold day it was  when I took these pictures with my lovely friend, Andrea! It was a hardy 35-40 degrees out and the water in this creek... very cold. It was worth it though. Andrea and I went out to a local park to take these pictures. The headband was a DIY. We bought a bunch of fake flowers and then twisted the fake stems together. I was estatic on how it turned out! And I'm so sorry about the picture overload, I couldn't chose only a few! Tell me what you think about the pictures and Please hype it on Chictopia!

Colour Blocks

I've been seening such bright colors lately it inspired me to throw on a few myself. The skirt is such a neon yellow it sometimes looks green. It's actually my sister's and a few sizes to big, so the belt is important. I got the purse for christmas and have decided I need a few more purses since I see so many in other bloggers fashion posts. Plus I only have two and one is more like a trash can that I carry everywhere with me. Lastly, the shirt. I received this shirt from one of my sponsors, OASAP. I've never ordered a shirt off the internet, but I am thrilled this one is my first! The detail and diversity is amazing on this shirt: slight bedazzlement, stripes, graphics, and even a bow! Such a lovely shirt with more on their store.

Love Day

Valentines Day has such a bad rep and I'm not really sure why. It's a day for loving EVERYONE, not just a significant other. I received one of those cards we get in grade school, those little pieces of thin cardboard with a cute dogs saying something silly like, "I wuff you." The one I got was of the toy story cast, really cute, from my friend Rachel. She gave them out to so many people because that's what this day is about! Spreading the love! What's your opinion of Valentines Day? Leave a comment telling!:)
But, I do have to brag a little. My boyfriend did get me a stuffed owl he said took him five to get out of a claw machine. He also made little sculptures out of clay. So adorable! And, of course, my favorite... chocolate. Please realize I'm a food addict and I can admit I have a problem.
I can honestly say I was disappointed in the amount of people who dressed up for Valentine's day. I woke up early (mostly thinking I would have to ride the bus since yesterday was a snow day) but also to make sure I was Valentines day ready! I chose this red lace dress I wore a few posts back, since red is what I think of when I think of this day. Plus it's lace... I stuck on this jacket and tights, added a pearl necklace and headed out to see people in sweatshirts and shorts. So sad.

Yes that's snow, yes I'm sitting in it and yes, it's very cold

So. Much. Hair.

Jeffrey Campbell

This post is dedicated to the amazing Jeffrey Campbell shoes. I swear I've never seen such unique and beautiful shoes in my life. Spikes, floral, prints; his shoes are so versatile all while sticking with his own personal flair. I feel as though I can't talk about them and do them justice so... here are some pictures.

My First Maxi

I have scavenged what seems to be the earth to find a maxi dress that I like that isn't ridicuously expensive, or cost that much in general. I found this at a thrift shop, Plato's Closet, in the city over. I instantly fell in love with it, then I looked at the price and new that we were meant to be. We waffled, fingers to fabric, and skipped out way over to the checkout counter, even the brief moment the checkout lady took it away from me to scan it was painful. Our love grows each time I put it on. We will never grow apart.

Thrifting is somewhat of a passion for me and sorry if I get carried away with my elaborate shopping stories. What can I say? I'm a writer. Scavenging for the best deals brings me joy. I always end up spending the same amount as I would at a mall, but I end up getting almost four times as much.

Follow me on Chictopia and check out OASAP.

Thanks to my friend ANDREA who made this shoot possible!
