Springtime Innocence

Tomorrw is the last day of me being a high school student. I'm not going to say I'm sad because I am most definitely not, I'm thrilled actually! High school seems like to much trouble for anyone to deal with. I mean, all year I was worried about my grades, teachers, fitting in, when, in reality, I was fine all along. I mean, I have great friends, I was nominated for Prom Queen and just won class clown as a senior favorite! Plus, Andrea took these AMAZING pictures of me! I couldn't have asked for a better photo shoot!
Plus I'm blogging off my new TABLET!!

ABOUT THE LOOK: This look is all about springtime and that feel of innocence that it brings. When most people think of Spring, they think of all the flowers and foliage that comes with it. I think of little kids finally coming out to play since the winter has passed and the time of swings and merry-go-rounds has emerged. The playground gives the youthful presence, as does the flow of the dress. The dress also sports a floral pattern which is exactly what springtime always embodies. I love the way the dress would flow when I twirled, this had to be the most fun I've had on a photo shoot in a long time. And these are the shoes I actually wore to Prom!

Showing my Sole

This post is all about one thing... my shoes. I LOVE these shoes. Have I had a chance to wear them yet... no. I don't really go to enough formal events to wear 5 1/2 inch heels. Anyway, this post is about my shoes because Chictopia is having a contest called "Show You Sole." I entered it and would love it if you all would help me out by voting, commenting and favoriting my picture.
The picture has a story with it though, or at least the shoes in the picture do. We had to describe what the shoes say about you and so here is what I said.

"I love these shoes for many reasons. One reason is that they are gorgeous, but another is that they really describe who I am.

The heels are snakeskin AND black suede. To complete opposites put into one, just like me. Snakeskin. Wild. Outlandish. An instant way to stand out. I love doing all of that. I hate swimming in the sea of normal, I’d rather wash up on the shore of the bright and beautiful where they like to party and let their personality shine. I love bold colors and taking chances and that’s what the snakeskin says.

However, there are times when I tone it down. Sometimes, a subtle wave wraps around my over-the-top personality, just like the black suede wraps around the snakeskin. The wild is tamed, even if just for a moment. I get calm. I write. I blog. I am the black suede.
The components of the shoe are the same of me. I am wild. I am calm."

Wildfox Couture Clothing

Wildfox Spring 2012 "Even Cowgirls Get The Blues" from WILDFOX PR on Vimeo.

Found that on Wildfox Couture's site and thought it would be the perfect introduction to them! Wildfox Couture is an amazing online boutique that really focuses on the indie/boho trends, I mean, just look at the name! Their clothes are nothing less than spectacular and their prices... well, a little steep for me, but remember, I get most of my clothes for $5 at Plato's Closet. Other than that, I would love to buy nearly every piece in their store and could spend hours gazing (almost put grazing, I'm so into their wild vibe) at their beautiful collections.
Enough of me telling you how amazing the store is, here is some of their gorgeous items!
Cowgirl Ballerina: $132.00

ARIEL CASSIDY TANK: $59.00

Frosted in Spring

Ah Blue. There were blue skies out, blue-purple flowers in the background, I'm wearing two shades of blue and have blue eyeliner on. Oh, and I made blue lipstick. That was fun. And I'm on my roof! It's the first time I've ever been up there in my 17 years of living and I think I picked the most stupid time to climb up there. My parents were temporarily out of time and my sister was at her soccer game, AKA, it was just me. I have a neighbor though. Maybe if he heard a giant crash followed by intense screams of pain, he might have popped by.
Nevertheless, it was a beautiful day out and I had fun. Besides the fact that I went to check on the status of my RUE 21 application and I don't really think they want to hire me because I know a worker and it has to do with "Conflict of Interest" or something. I'd love to work there though:/ Do you think I'd be a good employee at RUE 21? Tell in the comments:P
And I'll get a few more pictures of them up soon, but let's talk about my shoes for a second or three. I made them myself. Not the actual shoe, no, but I decorated them and I had an idea! What if I design a lot of them and sell them. They wouldn't be like mine since they are for my Readers Theatre Group, but what do you think? Yes? No? Si? No?

Living in a Garden

Black and White, I love the affect, but I rarely use it. I loved it in this picture though. The colors in this picture are beautifulo as well, but I, well, I love whis B&W! I just wanted to tell you all that I'll be trying to... change up the blog a little in the near future. A new look, different background, and a different way I arrange my pictures. I'm going to start carrying a camera with me as well to take pictures of amazing everyday items that are beautiful and inspire me! Hope you like it and I can't wait to show it to you all!

Please check me out and follow me on CHICTOPIA
