Not Blown Away

 

Do days ever go by insanely fast, yet super slow at the same time? That's my week so far. I can't believe it's already Thursday, and then again, it feels like it should be Saturday by now. I have tests and studying I need to do, but friends and home slices that I need to chill with. Maybe I'll grab my girl Andrea and go on another photo shoot! Although, my cousin Jessica did shoot this lovely set of pictures! The skirt is from Forever 21 as part of their Capsule 2.1 collection, which I'm IN LOVE with. I think that windy days are the best time to wear a long, flowy skirt; it gets you noticed for sure. And I'm wearing my always lovely Ooh La Luxe bodysuit again! It's definitely my favorite.

 

 

 

 

 

Oh behind-the-scene photos. So many blogs are glamorous and fail to show the hardships and awkwardness that occurs at shoots. I, however, am different. I realize that my life is not truly glamorous unless I'm dressed up for a shoot. I'm creating this post in sweats for heavens sake!

 

It's a Swimsuit

New year. New me. New blog layout. Things are going to be going a little different around here. 

First off, POSTS!! At least once a week (hopefully more). Second, I'll just be writing a little bit about my day/outfit instead of my normal blurb.

Soooo... Today is the first day back to college. I'm going to go all Valley Girl here and say Gag Me With A Spoon. To be honest, college isn't for everyone and I'm not sure if it's for me. Unfortunately, I have too much invested into it and, duh, I want to make my parent proud. Guess I'll just keep it up and, as Miley would say, "Do my thang." Anyway, I bought this "bodysuit" a while ago and it turned out to be a swimsuit. Oh well, I still love it!

My bloopers bring all the boys to the yaaaaard. Well, that's a lie, but here are some bloopers and behind the scenes of me being my typical weird self.

With a Friend

She can stand the Fa-La-Las now, but before turkey time, not so much. Christmas is coming and she's at her friend's house, letting him test out his photography skills and giving him guidance on it. Vertical, not horizontal unless sitting. Stand in front and let her face the light. White balance; fix it. Whole body in the picture to get the outfit. He'll learn... in due time.

ABOUT THE LOOK: First off, the pictures are a little bright and I apologize about that. It was a little dark and gloomy outside, so we had to take pictures inside and, with no photography lights, flash would have to do! Anyway, a current trend I have fallen in love with is bodysuits! I got this one from OohlaLuxe and I was most definitely satisfied with it. It formed to my body, unlike most suits I have tried on, and the mesh panels made it super sexy, although I toned it down for school. I always love a good ole "pop piece," in this case the pop of color from the scarf.
