Fashion Sasquatch (Post Apocalypse)

She needs sunglasses. Can someone get her some P-R-O-N-T-O, PRONTO? She's a diva, believe me (I'm her), but hey, she survived the apocalypse. She now storms through the forest, taking in the aftermath the Mayans predicted. What aftermath? Let's be realistic; if everyone thinks something is going to happen, it won't... and it didn't. So she survives another day, ready to take on the world that is still living.

ABOUT THE LOOK: A little sheer here and a few hundred studs there... yes please. It's the holiday season and what doesn't say holiday more that a mint shirt with muted gold studs strung across the collar and cuffs? Well, besides a faux crocodile clutch. I guess what I'm trying to say here is that this is an outfit that I'd most definitely wear to a Christmas Party... If only I had one to go to...

I Know the Sky

I know the sky better than anyone else. Why? My head is always in it. I can't concentrate anymore. Dreams fill my head and I must fulfill them. Chase them. Well, I try. Think of what you want then reach out and grab it. For me, what I want is just out of reach and I need someone to push it forward so I can at least touch it. Is it possible? I hope so. Help me.

ABOUT THE LOOK: Lace on lace? I say yes. I tucked in a lace peplum shirt into my triple buttoned, high waisted shorts that I got from Plato's closet. I added this super gorgeous lace jacket that I got from Rue 21. I wasn't to sure of putting lace on lace at first, but it turned out pretty nice. I think it's the jewelry that tied it in as well. I have a cute little peter pan collar necklace from Rue 21 and my friends earring. What do you all think about lace on lace?

BEHIND THE SCENES: My friend and photographer was with me like always, but today, my other best friend joined us in our photography journey. Her name is Heather, but I call her Chug-A-Muffin. Don't ask why, just accept it. Anyway, I just can't be serious with her around. I can hardly control myself with just Andrea. I shut my hand in a golf cart door and made it bleed, I busted out a crappy 4 page paper, I'm sleep deprieved BUT I am able to write this oh-so marvelous post (Super Sarcasm!). There's a reason that I called this Vampirish Part I. It's because I took sooooo many pictures that they can't all fit into one post! ABOUT THE LOOK: All of a sudden, fall is here... with fall weather. No more mini skirts and tanks for mwa. I am in college after all and forced to walk everywhere and I hate being cold. Exactly whey I wore this, oh-so-very mysterious skirt/jacket combo. The crimson color combined with the sheer overlaying the skirt from Forever 21 made it perfect from the transition from summer to fall. Plus, the leather jacket  from Plato's Closet provided shelter from the cool wind blowing that day. I have on some pretty cute necklaces too. One that has crosses and another that's full of false pearls and is a peter pan collar. I love it!

BEHIND THE SCENES: What can I say. I never stay serious for too long. At all. Ever. Andrea (Photographer and bestie) has to get frustrated, I mess around so much. I laugh, make her laugh, dance around, dance on a tree! Plus, she always manages to capture me hiking up my skirt and trampling around; have you ever tried to walk in heels in the forest while the ground is squishy? It's hard.



 

 

Gypsy Warrior

Ah. My. Gawrsh. My latest obsession has to be a lovely online boutique called GYPSY WARRIOR. I can't even begin to describe my love for this brand, but, for you all, I will do my best.
Let's begin with their About page. It explains a lot about the brand:
