My Own Dark Fairytale

 

It's only her and the eyes looking at her in the dark woods. Night is coming, but they don't turn back; they continue on their journey. The leaves crunch beneath her feet and the bark pries at her skin as she lays on the damp log. None of this is actually real because it's all a fantasy she's concocted in her over-imaginative mind. The creatures sulking behind the bushes are figments of her imagination. As are the amazing critters that have become her friends throughout the years.

Vampirish Part II

Why hello there. I see you are looking at pictures of me over the world wide web. Don't worry, I don't find it creepy. I did put them there for a reason. I put them there so people like you can see me.... Okay, I'm starting to creep myself out. I'm stopping that. Hi! I hope your day is going good. Mine didn't. I shut my hand in a golf cart door and made it bleed, I busted out a crappy 4 page paper, I'm sleep deprieved BUT I am able to write this oh-so marvelous post (Super Sarcasm!). Vampirish Part I (Giveaway Winner)

 

There's a reason that I called this Vampirish Part I. It's because I took sooooo many pictures that they can't all fit into one post! Plus, this post isn't just about my style today, it's about my BACK TO SCHOOL GIVEAWAY winner! Yes, it ended yesterday and now... it is time to announce who wins the amazing Social Butterfly House dress. So ladies, here it is!

ABOUT THE LOOK: All of a sudden, fall is here... with fall weather. No more mini skirts and tanks for mwa. I am in college after all and forced to walk everywhere and I hate being cold. Exactly whey I wore this, oh-so-very mysterious skirt/jacket combo. The crimson color combined with the sheer overlaying the skirt from Forever 21 made it perfect from the transition from summer to fall. Plus, the leather jacket  from Plato's Closet provided shelter from the cool wind blowing that day. I have on some pretty cute necklaces too. One that has crosses and another that's full of false pearls and is a peter pan collar. I love it!

BEHIND THE SCENES: What can I say. I never stay serious for too long. At all. Ever. Andrea (Photographer and bestie) has to get frustrated, I mess around so much. I laugh, make her laugh, dance around, dance on a tree! Plus, she always manages to capture me hiking up my skirt and trampling around; have you ever tried to walk in heels in the forest while the ground is squishy? It's hard.



 

 

Forgotten Photos

By the time your reading this, I'll be in Florida on my mission trip. I'm going down there for Give Kids The World, which is a part of Disney World (Or Land, whichever is in Florida) where we help the terminally ill have an amazing time at Disney World because it's there wish for the Make A Wish Foundation. We're also going to the beach for a day. I really hope I get to swim with some tropical fish or see a coral reef or be able to surf or something! I've never been to the beach so I'm hoping for a good experience. It's on my bucket list to go to Florida and visit a beach so... I hope it's worth being on my bucket list.

Anyway, I was going through some of my pictures the other day and I stumbled across these from an old shoot with Andrea. You can tell these pictures were from a while ago, my hair is still long and brown!

ABOUT THE LOOK:
What is there to say? One of the biggest trends of the moment is floral print so, even though I like to find pieces that are unique and not so trendy, I saw this dress and finally understood why the floral print fad blew up so quickly. What I like about this outfit is how it also combines the sheer part on top. Two trends in one, beautiful when separate, spectacular when together. The sheer adds a sexiness to the romantic side of the dress that the flowers bring out.

Living In The Trees

The weather was finally warm enough to do a photo shoot in a short-sleeved dress! It was so much fun besides the fact that I had to crawl up the tree I'm sitting in... in my dress... and it's a high tree. Plus I scratched up my arms because I Mulan crawled my way up the tree. There are more pictures but I only had time to grab these off my friends computer before we went to the midnight showing of THE HUNGER GAMES! Has anyone else seen it yet? My friend and I are going to have a photo shoot where I am being Katniss. I can really look like her if I want to, I just need some fuller lips and a few more freckles. I'm making a bow and arrow and yippie-kie-aye! I just can't wait for the shoot!

I'll put the other pictures up later this week and show you the amazing log I laid on... a log that apparently had ants and termites crawling all over it. I found out a little to late about the critters. Oh sad face.
