Fashion Sasquatch (Post Apocalypse)

She needs sunglasses. Can someone get her some P-R-O-N-T-O, PRONTO? She's a diva, believe me (I'm her), but hey, she survived the apocalypse. She now storms through the forest, taking in the aftermath the Mayans predicted. What aftermath? Let's be realistic; if everyone thinks something is going to happen, it won't... and it didn't. So she survives another day, ready to take on the world that is still living.

ABOUT THE LOOK: A little sheer here and a few hundred studs there... yes please. It's the holiday season and what doesn't say holiday more that a mint shirt with muted gold studs strung across the collar and cuffs? Well, besides a faux crocodile clutch. I guess what I'm trying to say here is that this is an outfit that I'd most definitely wear to a Christmas Party... If only I had one to go to...

Photographer's Clothes

Those dirty shoes. What have they been through? What's their story? And what about the girl wearing them? Who is she really? Sitting, standing, she doesn't believe that the moonlight is made for dancing; that's for the sun. It's so people can see the dance; Can see her. She wants attention, but wants to remain anonymous. She wears tight pants and a sheer blouse... her heeled boots have mud on them. Those shoes have been running, and so has her mind. Thoughts storm through her head every day, every night, every second. As you read this, she thinks. She dreams. She wishes. She wants. She blogs for you.

ABOUT THE LOOK:I can't tell you where a single thing was bought. You know my friend Andrea? The one who oh-so-very nicely takes all of my pictures? Well, yes. These are her clothes. I literally raided her closet and grabbed some cute clothes and she grabber her camera and Wha-La! Pictures!

 BLOOPERS!
Those moments caught on camera that... well... weren't suppose to be.

Vampirish Part II

Why hello there. I see you are looking at pictures of me over the world wide web. Don't worry, I don't find it creepy. I did put them there for a reason. I put them there so people like you can see me.... Okay, I'm starting to creep myself out. I'm stopping that. Hi! I hope your day is going good. Mine didn't. I shut my hand in a golf cart door and made it bleed, I busted out a crappy 4 page paper, I'm sleep deprieved BUT I am able to write this oh-so marvelous post (Super Sarcasm!). Anyway, Stay tuned and follow my blooooog because I sense that there's another AH-mazing giveaway a brewing!

ABOUT THE LOOK: Well... Um... it's exactly what I said from VAMPIRISH PART I just... without my leather jacket protecting me from the harsh winds.... the end:)

Rose in a Thornbush

Ah! What an amazing mission trip I went on! I have to tell you, if you want to make the world a better place, not just one small community, volunteer at Give Kids The World. It's in Florida, so you can even hit up the beach for the day like I did. Of course, I got this rediculous sunburn that made me peel my face's skin off like one would peel an orange, but hey, I surfed. One thing I get to check off my bucket list. Anyway, it was the most amazing experiance of my life. I got to meet people from all over the world and every single one of them was happy, no matter their kids condition. It was truely magical.

DON'T FORGET TO ENTER MY GIVEAWAY!

ABOUT THE LOOK: Rose in a Thornbush. My friend actually said something like this on the shoot and I knew my post had to be titled that. The red and the flowers really popped against any background so it looked like I was that hidden rose in the thornbush. The shirt is from SUGARLIPS APPAREL. When I first got it, to be truthfull, I was kinda iffy. It was a lot of material and I'm a small girl, I was scared it was going to eat me alive. Fortunately, when I paired it with the floral skirt from RUE 21, I knew that it was me. It's such a vibrant, happy look, which is needed since the oh-so depressing school time is drawing nearer, if not already arrived.

Sorry about the size of the pictures. I can't get them to enlarge, those little boogers. I'll try to fix it when I get somewhere with a better computer and wifi.

Forgotten Photos

By the time your reading this, I'll be in Florida on my mission trip. I'm going down there for Give Kids The World, which is a part of Disney World (Or Land, whichever is in Florida) where we help the terminally ill have an amazing time at Disney World because it's there wish for the Make A Wish Foundation. We're also going to the beach for a day. I really hope I get to swim with some tropical fish or see a coral reef or be able to surf or something! I've never been to the beach so I'm hoping for a good experience. It's on my bucket list to go to Florida and visit a beach so... I hope it's worth being on my bucket list.

Anyway, I was going through some of my pictures the other day and I stumbled across these from an old shoot with Andrea. You can tell these pictures were from a while ago, my hair is still long and brown!

ABOUT THE LOOK:
What is there to say? One of the biggest trends of the moment is floral print so, even though I like to find pieces that are unique and not so trendy, I saw this dress and finally understood why the floral print fad blew up so quickly. What I like about this outfit is how it also combines the sheer part on top. Two trends in one, beautiful when separate, spectacular when together. The sheer adds a sexiness to the romantic side of the dress that the flowers bring out.

Sorry! No behind the scenes pics on this one (yet!). Not enough time for my slooooow moooo internet connection to download the rest of the pics before I leave! (Just a few hours now!) See you all in a week:p

Belated Birthday Post

I'm baaaaaaaaack! Wow! It's been so long since I've last logged on! Well, I've logged on quite a bit but haven't posted anything in a while. I had severe conjunctivitis (fancy word for pink eye) and wasn't really in the mood to have my picture taken, they wouldn't have been pretty anyway, my eyes were so red:( Speaking of red... I cut my hair and dyed it red! Just one of the changes you will be seeing around here along with a behind the scenes section at the bottom of the page. Check it out and tell me what you think!

Anyway, my birthday was last week and I finally turned 18! I'm an adult now; I can buy cigarettes, get a tattoo and purchase lotto tickets, although I probably won't do any of those. I'll vote though! My best friends Heather and Mason got me these gorgeous Jeffrey Campbell Nightwalker shoes. They are surprisingly easy to walk in and the expressions on people's faces when I walked by in them was priceless! I have to admit though... I tripped. I tripped right in front of a couple of cars who had stopped at a stop sign and, little did I know, I tripped in front of a big group of people who had just gotten off a train behind me. Good thing I don't get embarrassed easily. My other best friend and amazing photographer, Andrea took these shots for me. I can always count on her for anything, especially giving you all more shots to gaze upon!

ABOUT THE LOOK: This outfit is all about the legs. The triple-button, high top pants and six-inch-heel (minus an actual heel) shoes made my legs appear to go on for miles (and let me tell you, the amount of catcalls we got on the shoot proved that people noticed!). The colors on the saddle oxford part of the shoe coordinated with the shorts and the shirts colors clashed with the bottom of the shoes, which I actually enjoyed! But, back to my legs... I tucked the shirt into the front and left it hanging in the back which also gave the look of extremely long legs so if your looking for extending your legs without painful surgery or such, try multi-buttoned shorts, a half-tucked shirt and sky high heels... with actual heels if you prefer;)

BEHIND THE SCENES: It was so incredibly hot out when we were taking these pictures. I kept sweating and we would have to stop to blot my face off! And, as you can tell, I wore flip flops most of the time. I didn't feel like strutting around in my new beautiful shoes for an hour or two, but I carried them and was careful not to put a single scratch on them!

ENDING QUESTION: What should I wear with these shoes next? Leave comments, links to pictures and if your comment is the one I pick, you could see it come to life in one of my next posts! And but of course I'll have to do a shout out to you!
