Denim Days #1

The world is so dark, yet so bright. Light shines through it the blackest of spaces and always gives hope to those trapped in the dark cells of their minds. The world can seem big and scary, mostly because it is, but you shouldn't stay confined in your mind and just dream. She doesn't; she taking chances now.

ABOUT THE LOOK: Woop Woop! I'm so excited! I got a couple denim shirts because it seems like denim is the new leather (Although leather is still most definitely in). Models toss on a denim jacket instead of a leather one nowadays so I thought I would demonstrate five ways to wear a denim shirt. First we have casual. I paired the jacket with denim jeans and a simple shirt.

BEHIND THE SCENES: The two pictures below involve me spotting a spider crawling in the flowers next to me and... uhm... well... I have no freakin' clue what's happening in the second one.

Glamorous Blogger Competition

Black Wedge High Top Trainers: £29.99

Glamorous is running a blogger competition and the prize is £200 worth of clothes from their amazing website! To win, you have to be a blogger and create a collage of your dream Glamorous outfit with a budget of £200, like I did above. If you want to enter this competition, create a blog post with your wishlist and then email the link to emily@e-tailwebstores.com by 12th of November. The top 10 entries will then be featured on the Glamorous facebook page, where they will be open to voting. The winner is the one who gets the most likes. For full details please click here.

As for my wishlist, here it is! I fell in love with pretty much all of Glamorous' clothes, so picking out one outfit was pretty darn hard, but I love what I finished with. I decided to start out with the body suit (I've been wanting one FOREVER) Pair it with those striped pants, and even if the stripes thickness is a bit different, my body will seem so long and tall from them! The mesh part of the body suit will give it a sexy feel, but with the layers, still modest. I would unzip the burgundy peplum shirt and put it over the body suit and then top it off with that gorgeous moto jacket. Lastly, I would finish with those High Top wedges. They are so sweet. Just sayin.

Gypsy Warrior

Ah. My. Gawrsh. My latest obsession has to be a lovely online boutique called GYPSY WARRIOR. I can't even begin to describe my love for this brand, but, for you all, I will do my best.
Let's begin with their About page. It explains a lot about the brand:

The Gypsy Warrior girl has an edgy spirit and sparkling eyes filled with wanderlust and passion for life. Gypsy Warrior is the ideal collaboration between Rock ‘n Roll and Bohemian lifestyle.

Its founders are two very different, yet well-matched, young ladies. Nicla DiCosmo, with experience at Ford Models, decided to use her fashion background and inimitable style sense to create something new. Her partner, Michel Bezoza, imaginatively blends rock and roll with high fashion. Michel has a track record of success starting and operating other small indie clothing brands. With her innovative influences from tattoo culture and the NY Rock ‘n Roll scene, Michel brings the latest styles and trends to the mix. Together they fuse the harmonious blend of a Gypsy and a Warrior.

Just reading about them makes them sound incredibly awesome right? I think so. Now I'll tell you why I am in love with them. Their style suits mine to a T. Everything screams unique and playful with a dash of shexy. Their use of sheers and distinctive cuts makes every piece perfect for someone who isn't afraid to show a bit of skin and be an individual.

I've made a wishlist below, so, if you ever want to be a great reader and buy me one (or all) of these... feel free. And, Gypsy Warrior, if you ever read this and want to, oh I don't know, just give me a piece or two, go for it! Enjoy!

It's My Galaxy Now

This post is for one of my readers, Jesika, who said she wanted to see some galaxy print on Caged in Clothes. Well Jesika, here you go! I meant to have about three posts made out for the coming week, but I don't. I'm going on a mission trip to South Dakota next week and was going to have a lot to automatic posts. Unfortunately, my photographer and I were running a little behind and only did two, but the first was a bust. Firstly, I was wearing jeans. Jeans. In the summer. H-O-T. And not in the daaaang girl, you is looking fine sort of way, but more like the, my face just sweated off and the rubber on the bottom of the shoes is sticking to ground. So I only have this post, but I really hope you like it! It was a blast to shoot!

ABOUT THE LOOK: This look is perfect for summer days that aren't 80 degrees or over. It's for those cool mornings when you want to look hot. The leather jacket is super hot but the assymetrical skirt has a nice flow and breeze to it. Plus, with galaxy print being such a an amazing print at the moment, this skirt is a hot piece. I won it off of the rewards section on Chictopia and you can get it here if you fell in love with it as much as I did! Oh, and, if I had had them, I would have combined this look with a chunky silver arm cuff to top of the look.

What do you think is this summer's sizzling piece? Tell in the comments!

On this picture and the pic below, do I look like Kristen Stewart?

Me and My Creeper

She's not really a creeper. She's my best friend... ever. Her name is Heather and we are what one might call "Chug-A-Muffins." Well, one might actually not call us that, but that's what we call each other. Up and downs, high and lows, we have each others backs, as you can clearly see in these next few pictures. This isn't a normal fashion post of my, it actually has to do with my life and friends but I hope you enjoy it anyway.

These pictures were taken at my school, hence the red lockers and endless twisting hallways I hate walking down everyday. My amazing photographer friend, Andrea, is taking these gorgeous pictures and there will be more photos by her VERY soon.

Eh Eh Ehmmmm...
I'm thinking of holding a giveaway for all of you readers. I draw clothes very well and was wondering if anyone would like to send me a picture of themselves in their favorite outfit, and I would recreate the look through one of my pictures. I would then post it as an example of what I can do and then hold a giveaway where someone would win the chance to have me draw their picture, but I would also send them the origional print as well. Comment and tell me what you think, and also leave a comment with your email if you want to send me a picture for me to draw of you! (It will be featured in a post on my blog as well as your picture. If you post your email, use [dot] so the spam bots don't get you. email@hotmail[dot]com).
